Rainier Wylde is an author, creativity coach, and teacher. He holds a Masters Degree in Psychology. His work sits at the place where art, spirituality, and the actual cost of staying human meet.
Rainier Wylde spent years in both the private and public sector—working as a manager in a Fortune 500 company, and also later as a psychotherapist and professor at graduate school. Later, he continued building containers as a coach for women and men looking to radically restructure their lives and relationships
What he kept noticing, session after session, was that the people who got better weren't the ones who found the right insight. They were the ones who made something. A drawing. A page. A room rearranged. Creativity kept showing up as the thing underneath the thing he was trained to treat.
Rainier now primarily writes, teaches, and mentors around the theme of creativity. He hosts The Creators, a weekly podcast that goes looking for the rule-breakers history almost lost: poets, writers, painters, and ordinary radicals who transformed their own world. He leads The Creators Collective, a working community for people trying to keep their creative lives honest under pressure to perform. He selectively mentors artists, writers, filmmakers, poets, musicians, and people longing to build creativity into their life, one at a time. Several times a year, he leads an immersion, intensive containers for people ready to go further than a feed post allows.
His first book, As You Are, became an Amazon bestseller in Spirituality & Self-Help. His second book on creativity—the myths that often prevent us from making and the road back to our own spark—is set to be released spring 2028.
He has spoken at numerous retreats, and public events including Wild Goose Festival and Soularize, among others, on creativity, embodiment, and what it costs to remain fully alive in a culture built to numb you.
He lives in the Low Country of South Carolina.
